BOZEMAN DEACONESS RHEUMATOLOGY: TREATMENT FOR ARTHRITIS AND AUTOIMMUNE DISEASES

Rheumatologists are internists who specialize in treating diseases of the musculoskeletal system. There are more than 100 types of these diseases and syndromes including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, gout, osteoporosis, and fibromyalgia.

Bozeman Deaconess Rheumatology evaluates new rheumatology patients and provides consultation to their primary care providers. A Board Certified Rheumatologist, John McCahan, MD joined Bozeman Deaconess Rheumatology in 2011. He is a graduate of Temple University and completed his residency and fellowship at Boston University Medical Center. In addition to his medical degree, Dr. McCahan holds a master’s in applied immunology from University of Southern Maine and has successfully completed the musculoskeletal ultrasound training program through USSONAR.

We’re pleased to announce that Melissa Reily, MD, will join Bozeman Deaconess Rheumatology later this summer. Dr. Reily is currently completing her rheumatology fellowship at the University of Utah. She earned her medical degree at Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine, completed residency in internal medicine at the University of Utah and is board certified in internal medicine.
