SPORTS PHYSICALS FOR KIDS

MAY 6, 2013
A sports physical can ensure the safety of your student athlete. Montana requires a pre-participation physical with your healthcare provider to make sure their bodies are ready for the season ahead.

Done properly, the exam includes:

Careful family history focusing on any evidence of early heart problems.
Past medical history identifying existing conditions such as asthma, hypertension, and previous injuries that may limit the amount or type of activity your child can handle.
A complete medical exam measuring heart rate, blood pressure, vision, height and weight, and evaluating posture, joints, strength and flexibility
