PHYSICAL MEDICINE AND REHABILITATION
Lisa Marie Todd, MD, joined Bozeman Deaconess Internal Medicine Associates as a Rehabilitation Physician. Dr. Todd is a graduate of the University of Washington School of Medicine where she also completed her residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation and then was an attending physician for the inpatient rehabilitation unit and neuro-rehab clinics. Prior to moving to Bozeman, Dr. Todd worked as a rehabilitation hospitalist at Virginia Mason Medical Center and Evergreen Health in Washington. Dr. Todd is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
Dr. Todd treats individuals with chronic neurological diseases, post-stroke, amputations, spinal cord injury and traumatic brain injury. Changes in physical function affect many areas of patients’ lives and raise questions regarding how to maximize physical abilities, retain as much independence as possible and promote overall health. Dr. Todd can assist by addressing a patient's mobility, self-care skills and cognitive issues with interventions including assistive devices, bracing and therapy to maximize physical function. She can also address spasticity, bowel and bladder management, skin issues and mood/attention issues.
