David King, MD, first resided in Bozeman as a graduate student at MSU. He attended medical school at the University of Washington School of Medicine where he was selected as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. His internship and residency in family medicine were completed at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine.
Dr. King returned to the Gallatin Valley in 1984, to open the Belgrade Clinic, which joined Bozeman Deaconess Health Group in 2011. Dr. King also is medical director of two local nursing homes, Mountain View Care Center and Bridger Healthcare Community, co-medical director of Rocky Mountain Hospice and managing partner of Family Doctors’ Urgent Care.
A diplomat of the American Board of Family Medicine, he is board certified in family medicine.
