CARDIOLOGY, INTERVENTIONAL CARDIOLOGY
Dane E. Sobek, MD, a native of Montana, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vermont. He returned to Montana where he acquired his medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine through the Montana WWAMI program. He received his postgraduate training in Internal Medicine at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. Following his residency, Dr. Sobek was selected to be Chief Medical Resident. He then completed his fellowship training in Cardiovascular Disease at the University of Utah. Dr. Sobek completed an additional two years of advanced Interventional Cardiology training at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City.
Dr. Sobek joined Cardiology Consultants of Bozeman, PC (now Bozeman Deaconess Cardiology Consultants) in 2005. He is also on staff at Bozeman Deaconess Hospital where he serves as Director of the Cardiac Cath Lab.
As a representative for Cardiology Consultants and Bozeman Deaconess Hospital, Dr. Sobek presented abstracts at the American College of Cardiology Scientific Sessions in 2006 and 2008. He also presented at the PCI Summit Meetings in Park City, Utah in 2007. Dr. Sobek was inducted as Fellow of the American College of Cardiology in 2007.
Dr. Sobek is currently board certified in Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology. His interests include consultative cardiology, echocardiography, invasive cardiology, coronary angioplasty and stenting, non-surgical atrial septal defect closure, and pacemaker implantation.
