Michael H. Spinelli, MD, FACP, is in practice with Bozeman Deaconess Spinelli Internal Medicine. He earned his medical degree at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine and completed residency in internal medicine (chief resident) at Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, DC.
He received two prestigious awards at Georgetown: one for excellence in practice of medicine, passion for the art of medicine and commitment to community, and the other for scholarship, excellent patient care and a well-developed sense of humor. Dr. Spinelli is board certified in internal medicine.
Dr. Spinelli is also the Associate Director of Montana State University’s WWAMI program, a medical school program for Montana students based out of the University of Washington. He is course chair for the first year course in medical decision making, first year clinical preceptorship coordinator and teaches a second semester elective in clinical reasoning. He is the director for the third-year University of Washington Internal Medicine Clerkship based out of Bozeman Deaconess Hospital.
He joined the medical staff at Bozeman Deaconess Hospital in 2010.
