|POTS Dysautonomia Disorder Support Group|
Tuesday, August 19, 2014
6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
P.O.T.S Point, a new support group meeting at Bozeman Deaconess Health Services, provides a safe, non-judgmental environment in which people with P.O.T.S or other autonomic dysfunctions, and their support givers, can talk openly about their issues and concerns.
P.O.T.S., or postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome, causes symptoms such as fainting, headaches, shortness of breath, chest pain, nausea and weakness. Our goal is to increase knowledge about P.O.T.S and resources available, combining mutual support with educational materials designed to enhance coping skills that lead to a better quality of life. Topics may include meal planning, exercise, symptoms, goal setting and more.
The free meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month. For more information, email firstname.lastname@example.org
