BOZEMAN DEACONESS EARNS TOP AWARD FOR QUALITY
OCTOBER 25, 2013Bozeman Deaconess Health Services has earned the Quality Achievement Award from Mountain-Pacific Quality Health for the sixth year in a row. BDHS was one of only three hospitals in the state to win Mountain-Pacific’s highest award this year.
“This honor recognizes the continuous commitment of all our employees and medical staff to provide the best possible health care to every patient”, said Kevin Pitzer, President and CEO of Bozeman Deaconess Health Services. “Receiving this Quality Achievement Award, for the sixth consecutive year, validates our commitment be a “high reliability” health care system which is reflected by our industry leading results in improving quality performance, eliminating avoidable patient harm and delivering exceptional patient experiences.”
The Quality Achievement Award was implemented in 2003 to recognize Montana hospitals for their dedication to preventing surgical infections and ensuring patients receive high-quality care for heart attack, heart failure or pneumonia.
